AQUAFIT and AQUAFIT BIKE are revolutionary products developed by SAHINNCO for use in swimming pools of clubs, phisiotherapy clinics, physical rehab centers, hospitals, spas and residences.

AQUAFIT is an underwater treadmill, which joins the benefits of the exercise worked out on the conventional treadmill – high caloric expenditure – and hydro gymnastics – low impact.

According to studies developed by renowned physiologist Dr. Turíbio Leite de Barros, (physiologist for São Paulo Futebol Clube and professor of UNIFESP – Federal University of São Paulo), AQUAFIT burns 140% more calories and its impact is 45% lower than that of a conventional treadmill, which already has some shock absorbing mechanism, that is, such percentage can be even higher if compared to free running.

Owing to the resistance imposed by water, AQUAFIT enables an intense workout in the muscles of the lower limbs without overworking tendons and articulations. AQUAFIT can be used by people all ages and physical conditions as long as there are no medical restrictions. It is also very useful in treatment for overweight people, post-surgical rehabilitation, athletes’ physical conditioning, among others.

AQUAFIT structure is made of stainless steel and nylon, and its motor cover is made of composite material, making it corrosion resistant and highly durable. The electronic panel provides wireless heart rate monitoring  (Heart Rate System), calculates the caloric expenditure, manages the speed (from zero to 10 km/h), displays actual time, room temperature, incline (13% with intervals of 1%) and enables the user to program a series of 64 personalized intervals (Personal Program) that the user can set according to training needed. As it is a system of hydraulic driving and transmission, it does not pose any risk of electric shocks (the control panel is driven by continuous current of 12 volts – equivalent to 8 ordinary batteries). Falls and other hazards are inexistent because the water reaches the waist of a person as tall as 1.80 m.

AQUAFIT BIKE is a state of the art, innovative product in the area of aquatic fitness. It is an smooth running aquatic bicycle that enables the user to change the strenght of work (three levels) without stopping the exercise. It also has an exclusive shower nozzle to freshen the top of the body that stays outside the water and a transparent scaled cup from zero to 10, to visualize the running speed.

AQUAFIT and AQUAFIT BIKE can be set individually in the swimming pool or in batteries of treamills and bicycles functioning side by side, however totally independent.

AQUAFIT - Conception model is an underwater treadmill, all hidraulic runned, with speed ranging up to 10 km/h and inclination from zero to 13 degrees. It also has an exclusive patented system to put in and draw out the treadmill from the water with a simple press of a button (Flexible System), liberating the swimming pool for other activities.

AQUAFIT - Hi-Tech model has all the features than the Concept model, except it is placed in the pool, not having the Flexible System.
